Do we take the same attitude towards Australian Aborigines, American Native Indians, NZ Maoris? I think not. Indonesia tries hard to obliterate its Dutch colonisation but in reality this period lasted for 300 years and greatly influenced the culture of the Indonesian people although it has been sid that Europeans introduced graft and corruption throughout SE Asia.

Re: The Tunnel: A torrent of thrills in Sydney’s secret underground

I'm trying hard to watch this without stopping and starting, because its scaring the shit out of me. I am not keen on Aussie movies or thrillers, but I can't stop watching this until its over. I knew nothing about this movie before I started watching it and naiively went into it thinking it was based on a real story. That scared me twice over. Noemi trying to watch the end and I'm scared!!!

Re: The Tunnel: A torrent of thrills in Sydney’s secret underground

It's fake, it's a movie the Producers acknowledge it as that aswell.

Re: The Tunnel: A torrent of thrills in Sydney’s secret underground

BECAUSE ITS A CONSPIRACY THERE ARE THINGS THE GOVERNMENT KEEP AS TOP SECRET

Re: The Guard

The Guard is set in a small Irish town and paints the
locals as tripped-out country-folk with no clue or interest in the
outside world.

Re: Top Ten Movies of 2011 (so far)

x men looks amazing!

Re: Wu Xia (Dragon)

This move have to be watched. Synthesizer enthusiasts will note that the atmospheric soundtrack is dominated by the unmistakable tones of the Roland D-50.
